PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge which is producible by almost maintaining production costs etc. as they are, contributes to alleviation of a burden on the operator when mounted, and allows the operator to positively confirm a projected state of a pivot shaft, and to provide a hinge body. SOLUTION: The hinge is formed of the hinge body 10 which has the pivot shaft movable in an axial direction, and a bearing which rotatably bears the pivot shaft. The hinge comprises: a rotating shaft which has an engaging portion 20 formed at least at one end thereof, for receiving rotating operation by the user; a main body 13 which has the engaging portion 20 exposed therefrom, and has the rotating shaft mounted thereon; and a link 25 which is rotatably connected to the rotating shaft and the pivot shaft via connection pins 26, 27. The main body 13 has a groove 28 formed therein, for guiding movement of the connection pins upon rotation of the rotating shaft.
