PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load-receiving platform elevating device with improved functions preventing a load placed on a load-receiving platform from accidentally moving down to the ground. SOLUTION: The load-receiving platform elevating device allows the load to be loaded and unloaded between the ground and the load-receiving platform via a rear end portion of the load-receiving platform. An upper surface of the rear end portion of the load-receiving platform has a rugged face portion 33. This rugged face portion 33 includes a load-receiving face portion 38 on which at least a part of the load is placed, and a wall face portion 39 extending upwardly from a rear edge of the load-receiving face portion 38 so that it is substantially perpendicular to the load-receiving face portion 38.
