PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothed belt production apparatus which protrudes an elastomer on the tooth face side and an elastomer on the back face side so as to be separated from each other, thereby does not expose a core wire from the back face, and further correctly sets the position of the core wire, and to provide a toothed belt production method. SOLUTION: The toothed belt production apparatus is equipped with: a mold for molding comprising a pair of cylinders each having an outer circumferential face on which teeth are formed at prescribed pitch intervals; an extruder heating and melting a thermoplastic elastomer and protruding the same from a die 3 toward the mold for molding; a delivering machine delivering a core wire applied with prescribed tension to the mold for molding; and a pressure applying means pressing the thermoplastic elastomer against a tooth groove formed by the mold for molding, wherein the die 3 separates an elastomer channel, and the die is arranged in a state of sandwiching a core wire guide means 11 for introducing the core wire 9 into the mold for molding.
