PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the development of black mold by sterilizing the outer surface of a rotary drum and the inner surface of a water tub and to perform deodorization simultaneously. SOLUTION: The washing machine 4 with the rotary drum 3 having many small holes, freely rotatably incorporated in the water tub 2 having a water draining part 1 is provided with an electrostatic atomizing device 5 for generating charged particulate water by electrostatic atomization. A discharge part 6 for discharging the charged particulate water generated in the electrostatic atomizing device 5 into a space 7 between the water tub 2 and the rotary drum 3 is provided.
