PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire-bait type lure which can amplify the vibration of a blade and can decrease breaking of the lure. SOLUTION: A line eye 14 and a return portion 27 are formed in the bent portion of a spinner bait wire 11. The line eye 14 and the return portion 27 are bent in mutually opposite directions and together form a substantially S-shape. The upper arm 21 and the lower arm 22 of the wire 11 are mutually bent to make the V-shape of the wire 11 expand. Hence, the total spring characteristics of the wire 11 are improved. Since the practical lengths of the upper arm 21 and the lower arm 22 are larger than their apparent lengths, the tolerance of loads added to the whole body of the wire with respect to breakage is increased. In addition, since vibrations generated by the rotation of the blade due to the flow of water are transmitted to the curved upper arm 21, in a dispersed state, stresses will not concentrate in the line eye 14.
