PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved comprehensive nutritional composition that can supply by, itself, every necessary nutrition to a person such as an elderly person or an inpatient who cannot ingest enough nutrition by meals. SOLUTION: The comprehensive nutritional composition includes a nitrogen source, minerals, vitamins and optionally glucides and fats, where the nitrogen source contains at least 11.0 mass% of glutamine, at least 7.0 mass% of leucine, at least 4.0 mass% of valine, at least 3.0 mass% of isoleucine and at least 3.0 mass% of alginin and satisfies :(i) at least one of the conditions of (a) a leucine content of at least 10.0 mass%, (b) a valine content of at least 6.5 mass% and (c) an isoleucine content of at least 5.5 mass%; and/or (ii) the condition of an alginin content of at least 7.0 mass%.
