A METHOD AND A SYSTEM FOR ADDRESS BOOK PROCESSING

A method and a system for address book processing are disclosed. The method includes the following steps. The network address book resolves the customer address book and generates corresponding acquiring request according to the setting of the said customer address book. The said network address book acquires the contact information which needs updating according to the acquiring request and updates the said customer address book. The updating information of the customer address book is synchronized or transmitted to the customer device by the network address book. Plenty of contact information can be acquired based on the customer's setting, and the problem of the current address book having simplex function and tight correlation with the service and being not independent function providing service for customers is resolved by using the method provided in the present implementation. Furthermore, the address book information on the customer's multiple devices can be updated synchronously. When one of the customer's devices initiates the updated address book information, the address books on the other devices of the customer are also updated. Thus the address book information on the multiple devices of the customer keeps consistent.
