<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a portion where no video is displayed due to a shielding material from being generated on a display surface in a projection display device for displaying the video by projecting the video onto the display surface. <P>SOLUTION: A shielding material detection device 220 (seating detector 222 to 225) detects a seat on which a user sits. A seating side decision part 231 determines whether each side of the display surface of a display table device 120 is a side adjacent to a seat on which the user seats on the basis of the results of the detection.
