<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a display position of a sprite with precision finer than a pixel size. <P>SOLUTION: A display device 6 has a pixel array where pixels composed of R, G and B sub-pixels are planarly arrayed. The image data processing part 11 of the plotting device 1 generates image data of the sprite as a display object and a target pixel address showing the target display position of the sprite in the pixel array. A writing control part 12 quantizes the target pixel address and generates each quantized pixel address showing each pixel position to be used for the sprite display in the pixel array of the display device 6, and then, writes the image data of the sprite in each area in a frame memory 4 shown by each quantized pixel address. In this case, a corresponding relation between the image data of the sprite and the quantized pixel address is independently controlled for every display color based on the target pixel address. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
