<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording medium which has excellent glossy outlook and can inhibit print unevenness even during inkjet recording with pigmented ink. <P>SOLUTION: This inkjet recording medium has an ink receptive layer including a pigment and a binder applied, by the cast coating process, to at least, one surface of the base paper. The base paper contains a rosetta-type light calcium carbonate whose ash content stipulated by JIS-P8251 is 5 to 25 mass%, with not less than 10% glossiness, at 20° of the surface of the ink receptive layer, stipulated by JIS-Z8741. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
