<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting device capable of uniformly rotating the rotation body of a unit even if the shaft centers of a driven shaft and drive shaft are displaced, and to provide an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A developing roller shaft 5j serving as the driven shaft for transmitting drive force to a developing roller 5g serving as the rotation body disposed in a process cartridge 1 serving as a unit positioned relative to an apparatus body, and the drive shaft 82 are connected by means of a connecting means 70 in which two equal-velocity joints are arranged in series in the axial direction. This makes it possible to connect the developing roller 5j and the drive shaft 82 even if the shaft centers of the developing roller 5j and the drive shaft 82 are displaced, and also makes it possible to transmit the rotation of the drive shaft 82 to the developing roller shaft 5j at equal speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
