<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MPLS (Multi Protocol Label Switch) network which can create an LSP (Label Switching Path) which spans areas in a network including route aggregated areas. <P>SOLUTION: In the MPLS network in which a first area and a second area are included, the first area is notified route aggregated information in which route information on a plurality of routes of the second area is aggregated, and an LDP (Label Distribution Protocol) for generating the LSP is used; a communication device is located in the first area, and receives a message for generating the LSP which spans the first area and the second area, and uses one of the plurality of routes within the second area. The communication device stores the route aggregated information, stores the route information, and stores the labels, when receiving the message, it determines whether the route information in the message is stored or not, and, in a case that the route information is not stored, it executes a label distribution process if the route of the route information is one of the routes aggregated with the stored route aggregated information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
