<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely detect an object, even if interference is generated, for example, by multipath or the like, by a vehicle surface shape or a road surface. <P>SOLUTION: A two-frequency CW radar 1 executes measurement processing of a high-speed measuring mode, to thereby output a high-speed measurement result Sh, and executes measurement processing of a low-speed measuring mode, to thereby output a low-speed measurement result Sl. A processing calculating device 2 executes a prescribed processing, by using the high-speed measurement result Sh from the two-frequency CW radar 1; and when it is determined that interference of a reception signal is generated, it continues the prescribed processing on reference to the low-speed measurement result Sl, rather the high-speed measurement result Sh, to thereby enable sure detection of a measuring object 3.
