PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup apparatus capable of dealing with acceleration of operation frequency and a high-speed and high-sensitivity motion picture reading by excellently correcting color mixture even in a new image pickup reading method using a pixel mixing system. SOLUTION: The signal processing apparatus corrects crosstalk components between signals read in time-series only when an absolute value of difference in the signals is larger than a predetermined value. Further, the signal processing apparatus corrects crosstalk components between signals read in time-series according to the sensitivity settings of the image pickup apparatus, when the set sensitivity is lower than predetermined sensitivity.
