PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitor system that confirms data from outside and a plurality of places in a house and is operated from outside and the plurality of places in the house. SOLUTION: The monitor system includes a monitor camera unit and a data recording device which records data obtained by the monitor camera unit, and the camera unit has an infrared sensor for biological sensing. The monitor system operates in response to biological sensing by the infrared sensor, connects the data recording device with a wireless LAN system to enable a personal computer on the network and a plurality of other data recording devices to browse and remotely operate recording data and also perform speech communication through the network, and also enables external communication equipment to browse and remotely operate the recorded data and perform speech communication.
