PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll screen device by which braking can be surely performed by gradually increasing resistance to the rotation of a winding part from the start of braking near the end of the winding action until winding is stopped when the screen is wound, and no mechanical impact is applied at the end of the rotation of the winding part. SOLUTION: The roll screen device (S) comprises: a winding part (1) mounted on a bearing member (3); a base shaft (4) partly having a screw part (440) and being fixed to the bearing member (3); a power storing part (5) in which rotational power is stored by pulling out a reed screen (2) and rotating the winding part (1); and a braking part (9) for stopping the winding part (1) by applying a braking force in a manner that the resistance applied to the rotation of the winding part (1) gradually increases near the end of the winding action of the reed screen (2).
