PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool with a lubricant supply means which estimates an amount of consumption of a lubricant by using a predetermined function for estimating the amount of consumption of the lubricant supplied to a movable section and supplies the lubricant in response to the amount of consumption. SOLUTION: The machine tool includes a lubricant supply means for intermittently supplying a lubricant to a movable section of the machine tool having an operation information acquisition means 1a for acquiring information concerning to the operation of the machine tool including operating time information, a lubricant consumption-estimating means 1b for estimating the consumption of the lubricant from the operation information acquired by the operation information acquisition means 1a per a designated period, a progress time calculation means 1c for adding the consumption, and a lubricant supply control means 1f for supplying the lubricant to the movable section when the added amount of consumption exceeds a predetermined value.
