PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressing device for a die quenching technique which can achieve improvement of dimensional accuracy of a product and produce a high quality product by avoiding partial contact of a steel material heated to a quenching temperature with a die, and preventing partial contraction of the steel material with a simple structure. SOLUTION: The pressing device for the die quenching technique is used for press-molding the steel material 10 heated to the quenching temperature by using an upper and lower pair of dice 2, 3 and quenching the material. On the upper face of the lower die 3, a plurality of protrusions 4 for placing the heated steel material 10 are provided on both sides of a press die 1 in the width direction thereof with intervals along the longitudinal direction.
