<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump dispenser capable of stably vertically moving a piston. <P>SOLUTION: The pump dispenser A consists of a cylinder portion 1, a piston portion 2 freely slidable within the cylinder portion 1, a nozzle head 3 attached in the upper part of the piston portion 2, a cap 4 for securing the cylinder portion 1 to the body of the container, a sealing ring 5 to be mounted between the cap 4 and the cylinder portion 1 and a spring 6 interposed between the cap 4 and the nozzle head 3 so as to resiliently move the nozzle head 3 upward.
