<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve assembly capable of suppressing compression force at an inner side in a radial direction from being applied to a heat-resistant filter even when a housing corrodes. <P>SOLUTION: The valve assembly 1 is provided with the housing 2 formed with a gas passage 200 and a valve stem hole 201; a valve 30 having a valve stem 300 movably penetrated through the valve stem hole 201 and a valve element 301 connected to the valve stem 300; and the cylindrical heat-resistant filters 32a, 32b interposed between an inner peripheral surface of the valve stem hole 201 and an outer peripheral surface of the valve stem 300 and collecting dusts in an exhaust gas. The housing 2 is made of cast iron. The valve assembly 1 is further provided with reinforcement collars 35a, 35b interposed between the inner peripheral surface of the valve stem hole 201 and outer peripheral surfaces of the heat-resistant filters 32a, 32b. Rigidity of the reinforcement collars 35a, 35b is higher than the heat-resistant filters 32a, 32b. At least surfaces of the reinforcement collars 35a, 35b are made of a high corrosion-resistance material having higher corrosion property than a cast iron. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
