<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating structure and coating method of a metal pipe joint which protect the metal pipe joint formed of different kinds of materials from corrosion. <P>SOLUTION: A coating structure of a metal pipe joint 9 includes a first metal pipe 7 and second metal pipe 8 formed of different kinds of materials which are jointed with each other, a silicone adhesive 11 provided so as to cover the outer periphery of the metal pipe joint 9 and a heat-shrinkable tube 12 disposed closely on the outer periphery of the silicone adhesive 11. The heat-shrinkable tube 12 is contracted to come into intimate contact with the silicone adhesive 11 while maintaining a shape of the silicone adhesive 11 by applying the silicone adhesive 11 to the metal pipe joint 9, coating the silicone adhesive 11 with the heat-shrinkable tube 12 before the silicone adhesive 11 is sufficiently solidified and heating the heat-shrinkable tube 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
