<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage water heater of high safety, not supplying hot water of high temperature to a hot water supply terminal, even in an abnormal state such as locking of a hot water mixing valve. <P>SOLUTION: This storage water heater comprises a hot water storage tank 1 for storing hot water/water, a water inlet pipe 2 connected with a lower portion of the hot water storage tank 1, a water supply pipe 4 branched from an intermediate portion of the water inlet pipe 2, a hot water supply pipe 3 connected with an upper portion of the hot water storage tank 1, a mixing valve 5 connected with the water supply pipe 4 and the hot water supply pipe 3, a hot water supply pipe 6 connected with a downstream side of the mixing valve 5, a hot water temperature detecting device 9 detecting a temperature of the hot water flowing in the hot water supply pipe 6, a bypass pipe 7 connecting the water supply pipe 4 and the hot water supply pipe 3 in a state that a connecting position with the hot water supply pipe 6 is located at a downstream side with respect to the hot water temperature detecting device 9, and an opening/closing valve 8 disposed on the way of the bypass pipe 7, and the opening/closing valve 8 is opened when a state that the hot water temperature detected by the hot water temperature detecting device 9 is higher than a set temperature, is detected for a specific time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
