<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a burden such as an operation load of a rope reel 14, and to stably secure a smooth operation. <P>SOLUTION: A partition wall section 8 is formed on an end of an opening of a crankcase 6 of an engine A so as to close the end of the opening of the crankcase 6. A cylindrical bearing section 10 is formed on the partition wall section 8. A rotary shaft 11 is penetrated through and supported by the bearing section 10. A rope reel 14 wound around a recoil rope 12 on an opposite side of the crankcase 6 of the bearing section 10 is rotatably supported. A clutch mechanism 18 for transmitting rotation of the engine A is provided on a crankcase 6 side of the rotary shaft 11. A coil spring shaped damper spring 16 is arranged outside the rope reel 14 on the opposite side of the crankcase 6 of the rotary shaft 11.
