PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a parallel processor capable of increasing efficiency of parallel processing with respect to data whose one data unit comprises a plurality of bits. SOLUTION: Data in which one data unit in an external SDRAM 6 comprises a plurality of bits are temporarily recorded in an input/output data buffer 4. A data array conversion part 5 converts an array of data with respect to the data recorded by the input/output data buffer 4 so that one data unit may be operated by respective operation elements 1.
