PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular underrun protector superior in collapse strength against a load in a vehicle collision, and having an optimal structure from a viewpoint of weight reduction. SOLUTION: This vehicular underrun protector is provided by constituting an external shape of a side cross section out of a substantially rectangular section. In the vehicular underrun protector, the side cross section has a pair of flanges 2 and 3 erected at a spacing and a plurality of webs 4a, 4b and 4c for joining the mutual these flanges 2 and 3, and one or more of closed cross-sectional parts 1a and 1b are constituted of the flanges 2 and 3 and the webs 4a, 4b and 4c, and the thickness t<SB>w1</SB>of the web 4a existing in the uppermost part is formed larger than the thickness t<SB>w2</SB>and t<SB>w3</SB>of a certain any webs 4b and 4c existing on its lower side.
