PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fall-down prevention plate of a vending machine, which is capable of preventing the vending machine from falling down upon the occurrence of an earthquake. SOLUTION: In the fall-down prevention plate, a substrate 3 obtained by C bending of a metallic plate having a substantially rectangular shape and a thickness of 2 to 3 mm and a reinforcing plate 4 subjected to hat bending are fixed one over the other. At this point, the reinforcing plate 4 is processed so as to be 1 mm lower than the substrate 3. The reinforcing plate 4 is not in contact with a floor surface while the fall-down prevention plate is put on a floor. When the vending machine having a weight of about 300 to 500 kg is put on the fall-down prevention plate having this configuration, the substrate 3 is bent to bring the reinforcing plate 4 into contact with the floor surface. This bend of the substrate 3 acts in such a direction that the vending machine is prevented from falling down, to produce an effect of bringing the fall-down prevention plate into close contact with the floor surface in good balance.
