PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor for a gas turbine capable of securing necessary strength according to parts while attaining weight reduction. SOLUTION: In the compressor rotor 20 of the gas turbine 1, some rotor disks 32, 34, 36, 38 among a plurality of rotor disks 24, 26, 28, 32, 34, 36, 38 are connected by welding and the other rotor disks 24, 26, 28 are connected with circumferential bolts 52 arrayed in a circumferential direction of a rotor rotation axis. In the parts where strength is not relatively required, the weight reduction is attained as the entire rotor by connecting the rotor disks 32, 34, 36, 38 by welding to form a welded connection 30 and in the parts where strength is required, the required strength is secured by connecting the rotor disks 24, 26, 28 with the circumferential bolts 52 to form a bolted connection 22.
