PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide soil cement sampling equipment capable of efficiently sampling only soil cement near an excavated bottom, and a method for confirming the strength of foot protection of a leading end of an existing pile by using the soil cement sampling equipment. SOLUTION: This soil cement sampling equipment comprises a bucket body 5, a cover body 6 for opening/closing an upper end opening of the bucket body 5, and a frame 7 for holding them in positions eccentric with respect to an excavating agitation shaft 1. The bucket body is turned around a horizontal pivot 8, so as to freely switch between a rising attitude in which the upper end opening is closed with the cover body and a fall attitude in which the upper end opening is opened by the cover body. The excavating agitation shaft descends and presses the bucket body against the excavated bottom S, so that the bucket body can be switched to the fallen attitude from the rising one. The excavating agitation shaft is rotated in one direction in a state in which the bucket body is in the fallen attitude, so that the soil cement can be sampled by the bucket body. The excavating agitation shaft is rotated in a reverse direction while ascending, so that the bucket body can be switched to the rising attitude. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
