<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transceiver that facilitate size reduction and cost reduction of a control circuit, when using long-distance optical transmission. <P>SOLUTION: The optical transceiver 1 is a transmission/reception- integrated type optical transceiver for transmitting and receiving optical signals and includes a TOSA 2 including an LD; an ROSA 3 including an APD; a transceiver IC 4 mounted with a temperature sensor 11 and driving the LD, based on the output signal of the temperature sensor 11; and a controller IC 6 for controlling the bias voltage of the APD, the controller IC 6 controlling the bias voltage based upon a temperature correction value obtained, by adding a predetermined offset value to the output signal of the temperature sensor 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
