<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverted pendulum type moving body capable of safely avoiding in the case wherein the inverted pendulum type moving body collides with an object, and to provide a control method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: This inverted pendulum type moving body includes first actuators 34 and 36 for driving wheels 18 and 20, which are arranged on axle, to rotate and a turning operation control section 82 for controlling the first actuators 34 and 36 so as to turn the inverted pendulum type moving body in the case wherein the inverted pendulum type moving body touches an object 90. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
