SIGNAL WIRE HOLDING STRUCTURE AND SIGNAL WIRE CONNECTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal wire holding structure and a signal wire connecting device wherein even when elastic restoring force is developed in a signal wire or unwanted pull force acts on a signal wire, the signal wire can be reliably held with the direction of wiring controlled.

SOLUTION: The signal wire connecting device includes: a device body 1; a large number of trunk terminals 2 housed in the device body 1 and connected to signal wires 15; and a base sheet 4 and a cover sheet 5 that are disposed opposite to each other and hold the signal wires 15 therebetween. The base sheet 4 and the cover sheet 5 each include a base material 6 and a large number of holding pins 7 disposed at predetermined intervals on the base material 6. Each of the holding pins 7 includes a stem 8 protruded from the base material 6 and an umbrella-shaped head 10 formed at the tip of the stem 8.
