PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically filter out spam when email are received, and reduce incorrect decision. SOLUTION: Email received by a user are sorted into normal mail and spam by predetermined filter rules, and features of header information of the sorted email are collated and extracted to generate feature vectors. The feature vectors of the normal mail and spam are analyzed to generate initial filter rules, and received email are separated into normal mail and spam by the generated filter rules.
