PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device and a sealing method capable of restraining generation of deformation or residual stress even in case frit is melted by irradiation of laser light, as well as an electronic device and a manufacturing method of the same. SOLUTION: The sealing device is provided with a laser light source, a retention means for retaining a treated object, an irradiating means provided in opposition to the retention means for laser light from the laser light source to be guided in, and a movement means for moving a relative position of the retention means and the irradiating means.
