PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording medium copying content of a copy-free DVD video or video content recorded by a user at least once while prohibiting copying of content of a copy-prohibited DVD video. SOLUTION: The information recording medium for recording/reproducing information using an error correction block:a recording area having a first depth for recording the information using the error correction block, and a prepit area interposed between the recording areas and having a prepit with a second depth for reproducing the information using the error correction block.
