PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide embedded hardware so mounted with a high mounting efficiency that reinforcements arranged in the components of a concrete building do not interfere with the bar member for fixing of the embedded hardware and a method of mounting the embedded hardware. SOLUTION: This embedded hardware 10 comprises a plate member 1 of a predetermined shape in plan view and fixing bar members 2 of a predetermined quantity secured to one wide side-surface 11 of the plate member 1. The center position P0 of one side-surface 11 of the plate member 1 and the center position P1 of a polygon formed by joining the positions Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4 at which the fixing bar members 2 of a predetermined quantity are secured to the plate member 1 are displaced from each other.
