PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cabinet locking/unlocking control system which enables the prevention of the occurrence of a failure to shut a lock, etc., power saving, and the like by enabling the unlocking of only a cabinet needed by a user. SOLUTION: When a unique ID is stored as a registration ID in a storage means in a control unit, a code number, corresponding to the registration ID, and the cabinet permitted to be unlocked are set. When an authentication device reads the unique ID, it is determined not only whether or not the read unique ID agrees with the registration ID but also whether or not code numbers agrees with each other. Only both when it is determined that the read unique ID agrees with the registration ID and when it is determined that the code numbers agrees with each other, an electric lock-type cabinet is permitted to be unlocked. Additionally, the cabinet locking/unlocking control system is provided with an indicating lamp which provides a notification that the cabinet is in the state of being permitted to be unlocked, along with the permission of unlocking, and an unlocking switch for unlocking only the cabinet desired to be unlocked, among the cabinets in the state of being permitted to be unlocked.
