PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boring method capable of surely forming an excellent hole H with stable quality by reducing the quantity of water consumed. SOLUTION: This boring method comprises a step of diluting a foaming agent (a) with a diluent (b) and feeding compressed air (c1) thereinto to manufacture a diluted foaming agent (d), a step of generating air bubbles (e) with a desired magnification in a foaming cylinder (24) by force-feeding the diluted foaming agent (d) together with a compressed air (c2) into the foaming cylinder (24), a step of boring by jetting the air bubbles (e) in the foaming cylinder (24) from a boring machine (1) to the portion to be bored, and a step of dissipating the air bubbles of slime (f) by spraying an antifoaming agent (g) to the slime (f) discharged from the bored hole (H) after the boring.
