[Also in Group XXXIX] In an arrangement wherein a plate 1 carrying electrical apparatus such as relays 5 or a twomotion selector is mounted in a readily detachable manner on a base 2 and the attachment is effected by projections 3 from the plate engaging with hooked parts 4 of the base, the plate 1 is locked automatically to the base on attach. ment, by a bolt 8 sliding in the base. The bolts which slide in brackets 15 and are located by pins 11, are held in a position to occlude the hooks 4 by a spring 9 and can be withdrawn by cams 18 when shaft 17 is turned by raising handle 13. Projections 16 on the handle limit the rotation of shaft 17 by engaging channelmember 2. Contacts 7 may be in the position shown or attached to bar 21. A plurality of plates may be mounted in side-by-side relation with projections 3 of two adjacent plates resting in a single hook on the bracket 5 and the bolts securing all plates may be released by a single continuous shaft.
