The video processing apparatus includes a plurality of connectors to connect to a video signal source, a decoding part which decodes a video signal provided from the video signal source, a switching part which selectively connects any one of the plurality of connectors to the decoding part, and a controller which outputs a control signal to transmit the video signal from the video signal source to the decoding part when the connector connected to the video signal source is connected to the decoding part by the switching part.
