#CMT# #/CMT# The transmission has a set of loose wheels (4-11) arranged at a pair of switching shafts (W2, W3) and coupled with associated switching elements (S1-S4) by using the respective switching shafts. Each loose wheel forms a wheel pair with respective fixed wheels (13, 14, 15, 16a, 16b) arranged at an output shaft (W4), where the loose and fixed wheels of an input stage and a switching gearbox reside in a common oil chamber. A set of power shift clutches (K1, K2) lies outside the oil chamber, so that the clutches are formed as a dry clutch. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Double clutch transmission for an engine e.g. diesel engine and petrol engine, of a motor vehicle i.e. passenger car. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The loose and fixed wheels of the input stage and the switching gearbox reside in the common oil chamber, so that the storage of the transmission can be designed as short as possible, thus minimizing the bending of the shaft, and hence minimizing the load distribution in teeth of the transmission, and minimizing the material required for producing the transmission. The power shift clutches lie outside the oil chamber, so that the clutches are formed as a dry clutch, thus providing positive movements to the clutches, and hence improving the efficiency of transmission. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The drawing shows a side sectional view of a double clutch transmission.'(Drawing includes non-English language text)' K1, K2 : Power shift clutches S1-S4 : Switching elements W2, W3 : Switching shafts W4 : Output shaft 4-11 : Loose wheels 13, 14, 15, 16a, 16b : Fixed wheels. |
