A refrigerator using an atomizing device to spray mist. The refrigerator has an atomized condition determination section for determining conditions of atomization performed by an atomizing section. Operation of the atomizing section is controlled by a determination signal from the atomized condition determination section. The construction allows an appropriate amount of mist to be sprayed according to the atomized conditions, improving spray accuracy.
