<p>PURPOSE: A sensor for measuring concentration of aluminum is provided which is capable of grasping aluminum promptly and accurately in hot dip galvanizing pot on the spot and performing function of the sensor for a long period of time at the same time. CONSTITUTION: The sensor for measuring concentration of aluminum of galvanizing pot using equilibrium of fluorine comprises an outer container(11) on the bottom and side surface of which openings are formed so that molten zinc is flown in the outer container through the openings; a disk shaped aluminum fluoride (AlF3) compact(9) which has such a grain size that the aluminum fluoride compact is capable of covering the opening on the bottom of the outer container, and which is adhered onto the opening part of the bottom of the outer container; a fluorite (CaF2) based solid electrolyte(7) which is fixed to an upper part of the aluminum fluoride compact and formed in a crucible shape; a reference electrode(8) charged into the solid electrolyte; cylindrical first quartz tube(15) adhered to an upper part of the solid electrolyte; second quartz tube(17) having a larger inner diameter than the first quartz tube so that the second quartz tube is adhered to an outer part of the first quartz tube; first lead line(13) as an electrode installed inside the solid electrolyte through the first quartz tube; and second lead line(14) exposed to an outer part of the second quartz tube so that the second lead line is contacted with the galvanizing pot between the first and second quartz tubes.</p> |
