<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a functional film, which can form the film having a desired thickness and a desired planar dimension. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes: a first step of applying a functional film agent 4 which contains a solvent for dissolving or swelling a functional substance and a polymer matrix layer 2, to the polymer matrix layer 2 disposed on a substrate 1; a second step of making the functional substance dispersed in the polymer matrix layer 2 by bringing the functional film agent 4 to diffuse into the polymer matrix layer 2; and a third step of forming the functional film 7 by solidifying the polymer matrix layer 2 in which the functional substance is made dispersed in the second step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
