<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent capable of exhibiting excellent fatigue durability against repetitive loads. <P>SOLUTION: As for the stent 100 of a tube structure, a plurality of cylindrical elements 10 are arrayed in an axial direction and the adjacent cylindrical elements 10 are connected by a connecting element 20. Each cylindrical element 10 is constituted of a wire bent zigzag in the circumference direction, the connecting element 20 is connected to the bend part 11 of the cylindrical element 10, also the wire of the bend part 11 is separated at the position at which the connecting element 20 is connected, and the separated wire is connected through the connecting element 20. Thus, since local stress concentration on a part especially requiring high strength in the cylindrical element 10 can be mitigated, the excellent fatigue durability is exhibited against the repetitive loads over a long period of time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
