PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video data recording device capable of reducing a sense of visual incompatibility generated owing to switching of multi-angle video. SOLUTION: A video data recording device is configured to horizontally reduce angle-A video and angle-B video, to synthesize them into one picture, and to record the picture, and further configured to gradually vary the number of horizontal pixels in prescribed picture units and to gradually vary a gain level for video data having a smaller number of horizontal pixels when starting recording the synthesized video data.
