PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk reproducing apparatus in which a floating chassis is fixed to a fixed chassis when a disk is inserted in a stable state with a simple structure. SOLUTION: A left end portion and a right end portion of a clamper support 124 are rotatably attached to left and right side plates of the floating chassis, respectively. The clamper support is extended downward from an end portion thereof and an engaging portion 137 is provided in the extended portion. An engaged portion 56 is provided in the fixed chassis. The engaging portion engages with the engaged portion when a clamper 122 is moved away from a turntable. The engaging portion and the engaged portion constitute a portion of a fixing means for fixing the floating chassis to the fixed chassis. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
