Disclosed is a substance capable of recovering the sensitivity of a cancer cell to an anti-cancer agent and inducing the cell death of the cancer cell in cancer acquiring the resistance to the anti-cancer agent. Specifically disclosed is a cancer cell death inducer for a cancer cell having the resistance against an anti-cancer agent, which comprises DNA for REIC/Dkk-3 as an active ingredient, and which has an activity of potentiating the anti-cancer agent.
