UNLOCKING ACTUATOR

An unlocking actuator which can achieve both unlocking of vehicle seat by automatic operation, and unlocking of vehicle seat by manual operation using a simple mechanism. Rotary torque generated by an electric motor (M) in order to unlock a vehicle seat is transmitted through rotary torque transmission means (3, 4) to a rotary gear (5) which is thereby rotated. A substantially sectorial insertion hole (6a) is formed in a pulley (6) along the rotational direction and an abutting surface is formed on one end side of the insertion hole (6a). A first inner cable (8) has one end fixed to a first winding groove formed in the outer circumferential part of the pulley (6) and wound in the first winding groove, and the other end connected with an unlocking mechanism. A second inner cable (9) has one end fitted idly in a second winding groove formed in the outer circumferential part of the pulley (6) and wound in the second winding groove, and the other end connected with an unlocking operation rod.
