摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device for a vehicle capable of restraining a colliding body from being separated from a vehicle body, while relaxing a collision load acting on the colliding body.

SOLUTION: This safety device 10 for the vehicle has an impact absorption structure 12 for absorbing impact energy of the colliding body P by being displaced to the vehicle body while supporting the collision load, a ratchet tooth 38 and a ratchet 40 restraining an impact absorption member 22 of the impact absorption structure 12 from being restored after absorbing the impact energy, and a pair of holding arms 42 for sandwiching and holding the colliding body P between the impact absorption member 22 and itself.
