<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance energy saving and to provide air conditioning comfortable to a user by carrying out operation in response to an air conditioning load of a room even after completion of a cutoff timer. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner includes a human body vicinity temperature detecting means 4, an outside temperature detecting means 2, a suction temperature detecting means 5 for detecting a suction temperature of the air conditioner, a temperature setting means 6 for setting a target room temperature, a difference temperature determining means 3 for determining a difference temperature of a set temperature and the suction temperature, a cutoff timer means 1 for stopping operation of the air condition at a cutoff timer time, and an activity amount detecting means 8 for detecting an activity amount of a human body. The air conditioner is operated or stopped after cutoff timer operation according to situations of a temperature of a human body vicinity, the activity amount of the human body, an outdoor temperature, and an indoor temperature. By this, when the air conditioning load is large, operation is additionally carried out and the user can go to sleep without displeasure, and when the air conditioning load is small, extra operation is not carried out and wasteful consumption of energy can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
